ETSD Safe Return Plan

ETSD Safe Return Plan for September 2021

The ETSD Safe Return Plan builds on the lessons learned during the 2020-2021 school year, the hard work of our staff that enabled so much in-person learning to occur throughout the year, and any current guidelines by which mandates how schools are required to operate. The remote learning option for families is removed for the 2021-22 school year in accordance with Executive Order 175; therefore, all learning will occur in-person with a five-day per week, full-day schedule based on the district's approved 2021-2022 school calendar.  ETSD will continue to evaluate new guidance as it becomes available in order to adjust local policies and practices in accordance with directives from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), and/or the Governor’s Office. At the time of the publication of this plan, districts in NJ are awaiting state guidance for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. Please note that adjustments will be made once additional state guidance is received this summer regarding masks, distancing, etc. If you would like to provide any feedback on the plan, click here to access a Google Form.
