Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week, 10/23-10/31

Red Ribbon Week - Dress Days
A primary area of instruction in the Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Curriculum is focused on students acquiring knowledge about alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and medicines, and applying these concepts to support a healthy, active lifestyle. This study is initiated annually in October with Red Ribbon Week.
The week encompassed school-wide activities that promote a positive school environment and drug prevention awareness, with resources being provided by the district and the Burlington County Municipal Alliance. Classroom lessons are then taught at various times throughout the year to recognize and raise awareness to the hazards and risks of illegal drugs and promote good decision-making. The ETPD also provides a LEAD program at grades five and seven to assist the district with teaching students the importance of prevention, click the following link for more information on the program: LEAD Program Description.
